Cat Ianni-Schlecht, MA, LPC, NCC, RPT
Cat is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist. Cat began her career working as a School Counselor before making the transition to full time therapist. Cat is passionate about working with children, families and individuals of all ages. She believes in working with parents and guardians, as she helps to guide their children towards their therapy goals. Her background working in schools has given her experience working with youth who have experienced trauma, loss, family changes or who are working on building self-esteem, addressing anxiety and learning social skills. Cat is very passionate on working with neurodivergent individuals with autism, ADHD, sensory disorders, developmental disabilities and learning disabilities. Cat believes that every person is unique and she uses a variety of theories and modalities to best support them. Cat uses a trauma informed approached that incorporates play-based therapies, CBT, motivational interviewing, and polyvagal theory.
When not working, Cat loves to spend time with her two dogs (Woody and Emmie) and travel. She is on a mission to visit every National Park and eat all of the best ice cream in the US.
